"Without diagnosis there can be no treatment" -- Hippocrates

Regardless of your treatment philosophy, the BioPAK Measurement System allows you to objectively evaluate the function of your patient's temporomandibular joints, craniofacial muscles and complete stomatognathic system. This capability can be an invaluable aid to the diagnosis and treatment of crainofacial pain and other temporomandibular disorders.

Each piece of the BioPAK system records information that most clinicians see as important in the assessment of a patient's stomatognathic health. Joint vibrations, muscle activity, jaw movement and maxillo-mandibular relation can all affect the status of a craniofacial pain/TMD patient.

Now you can perform objective treatment outcome measurements on all your TMD patients. Accurate objective testing will help you to determine which treatments are helping the patient's joints and muscles the way you intend them to. You can test the patient's muscles to see if a new mandibular position helps to relax and balance their masticatory muscles, also you can objectively document the improvement (or lack there of) of your patients (even into a courtroom if necessary).

Here's what some TMD clinicians have said about BioPAK:
